As a christian I believe most of this, but Muslims have been hated badly as well and we should treat everyone with respect. But because we are humans it's extremely hard to do so. Also I just wanted to point out that Stephen Colbert (the comedian he showed a clip of) is actually a really good person and is a strong christian.

As a Christian, I think it's necessary that we not only stand up for our faith. But to also walk in it, and apply the teachings of scripture to our daily lives. God's morality is first, God's judgement is first, and God's plan is first. His love echoes throughout the world into our hearts and minds, if we choose to accept it. The hardest reality to accept is that God knows more than we do, and that we must trust in his understanding.

To believe simply is not enough. What is the definition of belief, to accept that something in your heart is true and to follow it. If we say we are of God, but don't show it, then our meanings are empty words without love. We must always test the spirit, including our own. Pushing ourselves to follow his law.

You know what's ironic? Is that people don't understand why Jesus came down. Throughout the old testament, God did and made himself appear and people still complained. They always said God was unfair. Yet, to prove them wrong, he came down bearing our suffering, our transgressions, the full human condition and still followed and fulfilled the law.

Without Christ's sacrifice, we wouldn't have any chance to earn or find salvation. He ensured that chance when he did that. We were not worthy, yet he saw something in us, just like how he saw something in the Samaritan woman at the well.

I was raised in the church. For many years I walked away from God, but after many years I started reading and studying scripture and God came back into my life and i accepted Jesus again.

As a Christian I see us always on the offensive, then crying foul when we get offended. We try to regulate the world through our own faith, even though the Bible never told us to do so. The Apostle Paul said, “If it be possible, live peaceful with all men.” Yet we tell others that they are evil, unrighteous and in sin, forgetting that we were too at one point. We attack people with our truth, showing no love, patience, kindness, joy, meekness, humility or other fruits of the Spirit. I wonder if we are truly Christians sometimes.
