Scientists Discover Humanity's Newest Ancestor, Homo Naledi

No, actually, you don’t know the scientific process, whose very first step is, “observe something in the real world.”
Evolution was observed in the real world. It is a _fact._
*Then* hypotheses (and later theories) were formed to *explain* that process.
In the beginning, there was evolution. Then, later, Evolution Theory was created by humans to explain that process (how it works, etc.)
