Tasker helps me automate so many things and I don't even have smart gadgets in my home. The kids tablets turn off wifi and bluetooth automatically when they are not in use, a great battery saver. My phone only turns on my work SIM card on weekdays that I'm actually working, by checking my calendar for holidays etc. It automatically detects when I'm in bed (low light + hold the phone upright + after a certain time in the evning) and then activates night mode when I put it down on my bedside table, i.e. flight mode + closing all apps using autoinput etc. When I connect my Sony WH-1000 XM4 I have setup Tasker to increase the Bluetooth bitrate by diving into developer options using autoinput (once I turn the screen off).

Tasker used to be very good, but the hundreds of features made it a hard to navigate app. João, you added thousands of features, and somehow managed to turn into one of the best apps on Android. Hats Off mate 10/10

I want to add profile to Tasker to make it work like voice mail i.e. pick up any call that's not in contact list, announce "please leave message, your call will be recorded" and then record the call. Further more based on text in transcript of call, we can add more logic to block the no. if it is spam.

Ciao, please make tasker (if possible) selectable as calling app and sms app (for android 9). I wish program it to automatically answer to specific phone numbers calls, immediately, without interruption, turning off the microphone and recording what the call center operator says, while I'm listening to music, reading my mail or while the phone is not in use and continues to don't wake up, finding only a notification at the end of everything.

Well, what else to say? What everyone says: tasker is magnificent!

I have Cryptotab Browser Pro on my android phone that i use for mining bitcoin, the problem was that the browser require me to click on the "mining" button every 3 hour. Can you show me how to use the tasker to automate those action so i can sit back and relax without checking the browser app every 3 hours?

My phone's Google Dialer has a call recording option, but to record calls I have to tap the record button each and every single time, which is literally annoying, so can I use Tasker to do this for me every single time? If Tasker can thn what's the procedure to do this?

After the update, my profiles which automatically turn off wifi if disconnected, and enable data, and profile for disabling data when wifi connected keeps malfunctioning, suddenly wifi will close, and it'll switch to mobile data and then it'll detect that my wifi is close and not connected via another profile and then it'll turn on wifi again and my phone will connect, amd then data will be disabled, then again randomly wifi will close and data will turn on and do the whole process, then it'll be fine again.

:( I can't get the call screening feature to work on my Samsung S9, running Android 10 with the 5.11 update. I added my sister on the task just to test to see if it works but her calls still came through. I imported the example that's linked in the description
