We here in San Diego, understand and feel your pain. As you've most likely heard, we had an officer killed and his partner is hospitalized from a 16 year old unlicensed driver who, just after the pursuit was called off, T-boned the marked SDPD patrol unit then it immediately burst into flames. The officer who was driving was killed. His partner was located outside of the unit and is in the hospital in critical but stable condition as of midday August 29th. Are thought are with you.
