Much of the information here is wrong. The Luftwaffe NEVER gained any superiority at the beginning over the RAF because the Dowding system prevented it. While losses built up on both sides, the beginning of the Blitz did help the British but because of the false intelligence going back to Goring and the efforts of the RAF fighter pilots which included some fantastic Czech and Polish fighters, The RAF defeated the Luftwaffe and Operation Sea Lion (whilst would never have worked anyway) became an impossibility.

The similarities between Hitler and trump are frightening. This is a very well thought out documentary, and very informative, thank you for taking the time. I learned quite a few things about historical events tonight.

The english survived only because of Polish pilots and Russian soldiers.

02:07 Is a lie. He was not a soldier but a reporter, a captured civilian. Who sold the Boere out, I don't know for his escape. All I can say is Field Marshal Jan Smuts would have taken Winston's place if died during the war as PM. This documentary would be about Smuts if he did. I find it amazing that zero world war II documentaries have been made about Smuts considering his role & that the Boere called him a traitor.
