The Secret of Hitler's Speech

Speeches come in all shapes and sizes, and can serve a wide range of purposes. From inspiring and motivating audiences to informing and educating them, speeches are a powerful tool for communication and connection.

Some common types of speeches include persuasive speeches, which are designed to convince the audience to take a particular action or adopt a certain point of view. Informative speeches provide factual information on a particular topic.

So I spent hundreds of hours studying the most iconic speakers, from Martin Luther King to Frederick Douglass. Hitler also possessed some public speaking technique. It’s widely known that Adolf Hitler was a masterful orator, able to captivate and inspire large crowds with his powerful speeches. While his message and actions were despicable, it’s important to acknowledge the persuasive techniques he used to sway the masses.

Hitler’s speeches were characterised by his use of emotional language, repetition, and grandiose claims. He appealed to the fears and prejudices of his audience, and presented himself as the only solution to their problems.

It was more than the rhythm. I've listened to snippets of his speeches translated into English. He spoke emotionally and passionately about stuff that people would have cared about in post ww1 Germany.

That's why music is so powerful. People do not realize they are being programed with the beat, rhythm and frequency.

In college, the public speaking professor showed us similar statements of Hitler, yet some of the students were upset. The professor (who was Jewish) told us Hitler's speeches should be studied. His mannerisms showed power to the powerless.

Very few people called Hitler Adolf. Only his closest friends called him Adolf. This dude is referring to Hitler like he's a homie.

Honestly makes so much sense. First hand accounts always describe how Hitler would start off slow in his speeches and it would slowly escalate. By the time he was done even the skeptics would be riled up by his speech. Apparently he also did something similar in private conversations. People would be talking with him and he would suddenly start going on a rant which would end with him basically screaming as if he were giving a speech. Sometimes he would go on talking for hours as well.

His message carried alot of meaning to the people he was conveying his words to, whether it had a beat or not. He gave them confidence again and made them proud to be German

This is a good example of unbiased learning. Learning technique from those who although they were masters of it didn't use it for the greater good. Thanks Vusi

The words do carry, and I've never seen anyone truly, successfully debunk any of his claims.

Unironically, Hitler had some touching quotes

If your going give a speech about anything. You have to have rhythm and you have to have a instinctive understanding of how the crowd works and how they will react. This skill is key for any speaker.
