The hypothetical conversation between Nietzsche and Hitler was peak comedy🤣

He spoke about things that there is nothing funny about. And he made us all laugh. That, beyond anything, is pure talent.

"Shark would've found Anne Frank just like that" I spat out a mouthful of beer at that one😂😂

I love the smirk he gets when the crowd reacts to the kleenex joke

Oh man, he has mastered the art of treading the line. That shower joke was close to the edge, but he pulled it off completely.

He seems to gently test out that fine line where the audience will be offended if crossed, then jumps right over it!

"There was a shower scene." I do not have words for how much I missed comedians actually being allowed to tell jokes. It's glorious to see the return.

One of the few people who can get away with doing Hitler jokes. Gervais is beyond good...👍

Ricky Gervais knows exactly how to do a controversial joke but still be absolutely on point, so you can't fault him for it. He is a master at jokes, compared to many other 'controversial' comedians who are just popular for being narcissistic assholes. Ricky Gervais thinks about the target of his joke and knows exactly how to crisscross and layer his jokes doubly so that the brilliance overpowers any controversy.

the start was just him getting warmed up and that shower joke was the finisher, love it

That Anne frank joke came out of no where. Like a shark.

“I could resist everything except temptation” sounds like a line from one of those overly dramatic perfume adverts.

Ricky Gervais is obviously very, very talented. He's utterly hilarious and writes some fantastic material but his body language and mannerisms really take it up a notch.

One if the smartest writing comedians going. Just pure ingenuity and talent.

I heard that Oscar Wilde's last words, while lying in his death bed in a cheap French hotel, were, "Either that wall paper goes, or I do".

Ricky has the knack of dropping a punchline which makes the audience think the joke is finished, and then drops the bombshell. 😂

I love how Ricky gets away with EVERYTHING and nobody has any idea how he does so. He's like the South Park of comedians.

Humor can save humanity from itself. Stress from graveness and obedience will kill us all. Long live Ricky Gervais!
