As a Seaforth and now a Fairwind owner, I can't say enough great things about Jason and Halios. The entire experience is fantastic and the watches hold their own with watches costing 10x the price.

That clasp is to die for! I hope we see more and more of this as the micro industry grows. I consider my C Ward the most wearable in my collection exactly because of the clasp.

Yes, the warranty is stated at 12 months, but I can say that I sent in a Seaforth that I was the 3rd owner of and Jason fixed it for free, no questions asked. I've seen others post about him working on their watches for free very clearly out of warranty. And the clasp on the Universa/Fairwind doesn't seem loose when on wrist like mentioned in the video.

Travel pouch? Never had the room for one when I traveled. Usually put the secondary watch in a sock and put that in the toe of one of my spare shoes.

Halios was one of the first microbrands making nicely designed watches. In 2014 or so, that meant a lot.
I don't think that in 2021 it's as enticing as it was back then...

I own 2 Fairwinds. Really love them and in my opinion the best sub-$1000, - watch you can buy. I've owned most of the known microbrands and many bigger brands. This is definitely one of the best. Only one that comes close is Christopher Ward.

I bought this puppy because I wanted a Halios. Jason’s obsession for quality is well known. In no pandemic seasons Jason goes to The manuf to inspect the builds. And there are the excite and delights, including a extra strap because of the delays and that button adjust. I also love the design style. Long, tapered lugs that have an elegance like the fingers of a pianist. And that side profile, nearly architectural, like something you’d see at EPCOT. Jason takes a design position and he carries it through. Are there areas where he could improve? Yeah, but this is kind of what you get with small operations. See Time Factors, Helm, Zelos, etc.

I have a Halios Bronze. Initially I was a little meh, as the bronze was too bright and flashy for my tastes. But as the patina has set in……man. It’s a BEAUTIFUL watch now that the flash of the bronze has dulled. Such warm tones from the case that play gorgeous with the blue dial. And the rubber bracelet is super high quality. LOVE IT.

I've owned the first 4 halios watches from Halios. Easy to see the progression in design and producdtion quality, from the holotype, bluering and on. They are now smaller and much higher fit and finish. A fine example of what can be done right by micros. Even though I'm not in the market for a new one, I'm always impressed when I look

Great review and a really stunning watch! I will say, I really love that blue! Personally, I wouldn't buy a watch with a colour that is too outrageous, like orange or yellow. This blue is unique and beautiful, yet still able to be worn in the office, other types of places etc... Wow that bracelet is amazing, why aren't more brands doing something similar?
