I just love the way Sam Neill delivers "it's a dinosaur". It's like a wonderstruck child seeing his favorite toy come to life.

How to sum up in one scene just how important John Williams' music was to late 20th century cinema.

Seeing this in the theater back in 1993 was truly amazing. Not only did we feel like we were seeing Dinosaurs for the first time, but it was beginning of the digital era of film making.

Just imagine the feeling, they've been studying the dinosaurs all their lives and then suddenly everything they've read is right infront of their eyes and moving. That's an inexplicable feeling. The happiness in their eyes especially when he says, "They do move in herds". Very accurately directed by Spielberg and very accurately acted by the actors.

1:43 is the best acting in the whole film. Ethics aside, that is exactly how a skeptical mathematician should react to a miracle.

Perfection. And god when the score comes in I literally shed a tear. We are so blessed to have lived on Earth in this period of time to experience this film and everything that went into it ♥️

2:07 - "Dr. Grant, my dear Dr. Sattler... welcome to Jurassic Park." WHAT AN AMAZING LINE

Imagine seeing this in 93, in theaters.

The whole audience must've lost their minds... seeing such amazing creatures come back to life...

Wow... These guys are old!

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

"They're moving in herds. They DO move in herds."
There's something about that particular line that just makes you want to smile and cry at the same time.

The thirty seconds from 2:00 on are the absolute peak of Steven Spielberg's and John Williams' exceptional careers

There’s so much to say about this scene, but I’m gonna say this: it is arguably one of, if not *the*, most important scenes in cinema history. This scene showed just how powerful and how realistic CGI had become to the world and more importantly to filmmakers. Thousands, tens of thousands, of people suddenly realized that all those movies that they’d always wanted to make but couldn’t because the technology didn’t exist to make them in any satisfying way, were shown in the most dramatic way that it was *finally possible*.

This is a scene that made a million dreams instantly come true, or at least become possible.

2:07-2:15 "Dr. Grant. My dear Dr. Sattler. Welcome to Jurassic Park!"

30 years later, this is still one of the most iconic lines from this movie. Overall, this scene is so beautiful and perfect because of the dialogue, music, and CGI.
