How to go back to the old youtube layout

This is just a very simple and quick tutorial showing you how to revert back to the old youtube layout.

Unfortunately this may have worked in the past, but not now. I detest the "new" YouTube... it is very user-unfriendly and it takes a long time to find what you're looking for...
as opposed to the old style, where the column was on the left, alphabetically listed! What's wrong with these people, why do they change things to make things worse and more upsetting for people... just don't understand it!😢

When I click on my profile it doesn't give me those options at the bottom.

That option of "restore" old you tube is not showing up. I have definitely scrolled to the bottom. The new layout is too big and hurts my eyes and does not give as many options.

I got the old layout back this morning (I'm in Vietnam) Maybe they are changing it back area by area, so some first, some later?

This no longer works. Google YouTube has completely phased out the old YouTube and now the backup feature is completely gone.

That did not bring up the list that you showed. If it can't be changed back then how do you get the notifications?

So as of today, the history icon that was always at the bottom is GONE. You now have to go into settings to see and find a video you have watched and want to go back too. And once you click on it, it sends you to a newly opened YouTube box not the ap box you have open through the ap already!! It’s infuriating and changing it to this makes no fckng sense at all. I hate it when aps change things that don’t need to be changed just to make something different. When we’ve all done it the way it was for so long that we understand it and know how to use it, only to have it disappear and now you have to do something way more complicated to accomplish the same thing when it used to be very simple and never needed to be changed in the first place!! I think they do it just to fck with us, I really do. 😂

Did anyone notice that if you sign out of Youtube, you get the previous youtube layout. But unfortunately we are paying money for membersip and a google account to have playlists and no ads :-)

That didn’t help one bit. Just 2 days ago everything changed. The font is too small. Very hard to read now. This is a bummer
