As someone who has worked from home off and on before the Covid-19 event, I figured I would cover some basic working from home ideas as well as some pointers for managers and some realizations about office versus home productivity. I even share a way to handle micro managers who don't fully embrace working from home.

I originally thought after the pandemic people would go back to the usual office environment however from talking to a variety of managers, it seems like more companies will embrace it due to an increase in productivity. I will also cover some ways to avoid burnout when working from home. Often we lose control of work hours which causes excessive stress due to unrealistic expectations.

1) Set up a schedule
2) Find a quiet place to work
3) Learning to socialize digitally

Working from home has been super hard for me .. funny cause I’m also younger than you 🙃 ...

I have struggled immensely in the past 90 days. I think I’m the opposite of you. I eat worse at home, I lose my routine at home, I get distracted super easily. The coronavirus has forced me to sort of “get over” that and learn to be productive in any environment. I’ve gotten to the point where I will literally write out my daily schedule in my outlook from 7am-10pm.

Hi Mr. Bianco, I literally discovered your channel three days ago and have been binge watching your videos since. I'm an incoming freshman @ Purdue University for data science, and I was wondering what's the most advanced level of mathematics used in quantitative finance? The highest mandatory math class for Data Science majors is Elementary Linear Algebra.

Thanks!

Also, does having HFT experience before MFE help while aiming for trading or quant roles? Lastly, Is the CQF respected in the quant community and does it give an edge when applying ?
