Alex Ovechkin Amazing Goal vs Phoenix Coyotes 2006 (All Camera Angles)

Показать описание
Was Alex Ovechkin's 2006 goal against Phoenix Coyotes, the greatest miracle goal in sports?
For in scoring that goal, Alex had to break every conceivable rule, and do at least three things that we never expect hockey players to do.
It is nearly impossible to....
-Fall down after skating at full speed, yet somehow still maintain control of the puck while reaching back with your stick, on your back. Alex did.
It is nearly impossible to....
-Generate enough momentum, with the puck behind you and your entire hockey stick held flat on the ice, to fire toward a target while sliding away from that target on your back. Alex did.
It is nearly impossible to....
-From a 170 degree angle, fire a puck toward the only spot where it would go beyond the goalie's stick and still have a good enough line to go in the net. All while on your back, with the puck behind you and with no time to actually look at eiter the outstretched goalie, or the net you are firing at.
Very few players could have done even one of those three things. Had only one of those three things not happened, the goal would not have been scored. That's in part what makes the goal so amazing.
