What I usually don’t like about beauty influencers is that their product reviews are always done from a vivential point of view and they do none or poor quality research (blogs, wikipedia, etc) regarding the ingredient list. Thank you so so so much for taking all this time and effort to actually do a beauty video that is worth watching. As a scientist, I appreciate this so much. I’m obviously subscribing. Greetings!

Heat protection is only half of the resolution. The other half is turn down the temperature. Even the best heat protectant won’t help if you have your flat iron or curlers at 400 degrees! Great video!

I usually hate when people don’t just say what we came for, but I didn’t even skip forward. I learned things I didn’t even know I needed to know 🙌🏽

Literally, I wait for Afope to upload each week!!! It’s the FACTS AND INFORMATION FOR ME! lol so happy to get the science tips, and I’ll be looking for a heat protectant with these ingredients for sure. I’m 6 months into my no heat for 1 year challenge. So far, I’m blown away by the results! This is the rest and relaxation my hair needed to be at its best. Afope’s tips have definitely been a big help along this journey... especially since I’m a high porosity girl!

I love when you do videos about the ingredients in products and their effects on the hair, I would love to see a video on the different alcohols in hair products and their benefits or lack thereof. Great content as always.

L’Oréal Elvive protein recharge leave-in conditioner. 450F heat protection, protein + almond oil.
I love this product and it has all the ingredients she described at the beginning.

I also have TRESemmé leave-in spray heat Tamer. It has the ingredients too and it’s very easy to apply since it’s a spray. The perfume is very strong in this product though!

Thank you so very much for all the insightful information! ❤️❤️😁

Kerastase “Ciment Thermique” & “Defense Thermique” stack up pretty well with the ingredient lists.
Best of sephora from what i saw.
Briogeo also has a heat protector with a good amount of those ingredients, but reviews say it can be drying for certain hair types.

I use Design Essentials Agave and Lavender and there are variations of some of your listed ingredients. Glycerine, propylene glycol, polyquaternuim-11, phenyl trimethicone, simethicone, sebacic acid copolymer, cetrimonium chloride, no PVP/DMAPA though. Soooo close. I loved learning from this video! Keep the facts coming.
