Interesting theory, but I'm beginning to believe in a theory of Blackbeard actually having the Inu-Inu no Me: model: Cerberus. Rather than the 3 hearts thing, which doesn't guarantee that each heart would have separate souls for the fruits to attach to. It often more commonly to see variations of Cerberus having a different personality or maybe even separate souls for each head. Sometimes just operating under a singular goal so as to seem like one entity.

Guys i can explain: I think its due to blavkbeards yami yami no mi, we can see that when blackbeard got the gura gura no mi he covered him and whitebeard in a blanket for complete darkness so due to blackbeards devil fruit which absorbs everything absorbed the literal essence of devil fruit as it was escaping whitebeards already dying body.



This explains why blackbeard would want a logia which causes him twice the pain.

I honestly think that the answer is Cannabilism. Call me crazy, but we have seen it work before, when Big Mom ate all her friends, she obtained the powers of the soul fruit, which belonged to Carmel, through eating her. And maybe you only get killed when you eat two DEVIL FRUITS, but Whitebeard already ate his, which means the fruits abilities can’t be given to anyone else through the fruit. So maybe Blackbeard ate pieces of Whitebeard, and obtained the Gura Gura no mi, without dying.

Technically for me at least, he didn't eat the other fruit but rather absorbed it, like I didn't even see him eat the other fruit. I like the theory that he didn’t eat whitebeards fruit at all. Rather one of his rings on his hand did. We saw back in alabasta that inanimate objects can eat devil fruits, but then we never see it again. So what if blackbeards real fruit is the dark dark fruit, and then all other fruits he obtains, he’s just feeding to one of his rings.

Well blackbeard have yami yami no mi, do he is darkness rights? Well i know its paramecia but this fruit works on different waves i can tell.
