Delay for me goes after the preamp/distortion so you get that sweet bleed over when you turn off the distortion and so the delay doesn't muddy the dry signal too much

I run my EHX Canyon Delay after my phaser/flanger/filter and just before my reverb.

This sounds dope! I personally use the Boss DD-7, as due to it being digital the repeats are crystal clear, perfect for some shoegaze. I personally put it right after my fuzz and reverse reverb for a full-on wall of sound onslaught.

Also, loving the trend of doom guitarists using aluminum necks! I'm moving my aluminum neck from my Strat to a purple Warmoth Jazzmaster body (inspired by the colour of your T60 haha) and I'm so excited! Your Tele looks so sick with the aluminum neck.

I actually don’t have a delay pedal, but I put my reverb at the end of the chain before the amp

I’ve gotta have one of these! It has exactly the sound and features I’m looking for and would fit in nicely with the doom project I’m in. I don’t have a good delay right now but I normally put them towards the end of my signal path and used to use the echoplex delay a lot.
