'FU-2' might be the best name in pedals 😄

Can you make a sludge pedal board? Primitive man style like MASSIVE sound

I’m from Vegas, I use a Jhs Muffiletta, linked into a Joyo TaiChi, into a OpAmp Muff, TC Electronic June-06, and canyon to top it off

I'm loving the versatility in the different types of gain here, your pedals stack really well!

On my board I'm running a Digitech Bass Synth for its crazy octaver/filter sounds into my Jelly Fuzz which is a heavily gated silicon fuzz reminiscent of a Big Muff but with much more midrange on tap, which I then send into my Dunwich DA120 which is my primary source of gain. I run that signal off my board and into my Ocean Machine which is essentially two delays, a reverb and a Looper in one pedal. You can swap the order of the effects within the pedal and create all sorts of loops and continue to send them into each other. The reason I keep the Ocean Machine off the floor and on its own stand is so I can adjust its paramaters as I play, I have found it's more of an instrument than effect pedal. Because it has stereo ins and outs, i can run my pedalboard and my Venom keyboard into both of my amps and switch at any time! For amps i run two of those high wattage Peavey heads from the 70's....Or at least I did before one of them broke!

Get this, a fat rat crawled into the amp and died decades ago after chewing through one of the wires, and its nest was insulating the heat from the transformer. One day I looked inside the amp and discovered it, and I had it sent to a tech...and once it was cleaned and removed it stopped working. It's almost as if the poor little guy was grounding my amp. Sacrificial soul to keep my tone alive! Now my board sits packed up and I just play through my little Digitech multi effect unit with headphones :\

I subscribed a couple of months ago because I knew I wanted to check back and really start watching your videos. They are absolutely amazing! These types of videos where pedalboards are customized are the best!

I look forward to seeing/hearing more of that echo pedal.

The coolest combo was Drone Master -> Dark Master -> model feT. My pedal board is very simple, only 4 pedals including a tuner. It’s a boss pitch black advance tuner, into a Abominable Electronics Hellmouth, into a Morley Power Fuzz Wah, into a Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh. I use this board for both bass and guitar, but mostly bass.

Thanks for running through the board. Super helpful and amazing sounds!

Hello from West Michigan. My favorite pedal combo on the board was (surprisingly) the clean sound from the Micro Pog, Dark Master and Model Fet. The fuzz sounds were awesome too, but that clean was so cool. A lot of things move around on my board, but some mainstays are DOD BiFet Preamp -> Dod250 -> Dod Carcosa Fuzz or Modded Russian Muff -> DOD Rubberneck Delay

The timing on this could not be better. I am I the market for a new OD and the Doom Screamer may be the solution I am looking for. Can't wait to learn more about it!

Never would have thought to put a tube screamer in front of all my fuzz pedals... Stoked to try it out. That FU-2 looks like an awesome upgrade to my Behringer Super Fuzz... I tried out a Orange Fur Coat and it just didn't have the same balls some I'm still hanging with my Plastic Orange box. Thanks from the mountains of Colorado for producing your videos

currently I run an Ibanez AutoWah into a Boss AC-3 to an Earthquaker Devices Organizer to a Boss Super Chorus to a Caroine Meterore to a mini fuzz face. it's more psycho zydeco than metal, but it makes a lot of good sounds and probably needs a volume pedal

Man that model fits goes good with all of those pedals! My favorite was the drone master, micro pog & master fet. After watching another video you did on boards it got me to realize a better order of my board which was Acapulco my dirt chain but now your video got me to switch it to gold-surya. I have an active evp Jr. Volume pedal at the very front a custom audio electronic wah after the Surya into a electro faustus photo-theremin into a mxr talkbox all in the front of that little orange 15watt micro terror dark and that crappy 8in cab that can't handle the loss at all then in the effects loop im using a little more ge 100 for my 4everbs and equalizer and noise gate and or delay effects which is getting tossed for individual pedals soon .power supply is a Hiree Amazon unit not sure if itsa daisy chain if it is it sure doesn't look it . Oh yeah by the way the name is Clay Block from Dallas, Texas and I'm playing either a dean vendetta 7string with active eggs but my full time demon slayer is a 2012 dean Thourghbred with gus g active blackouts and 24 volt mod...it's so sick. Sonically the out shine a y emgs I've used. Really liking the boards steve is putting out I'd like to own one at some point, so what do you think of the pedals im running as far as the order . I removed the doom saw possibly for good and is that model fet in your opinion better than that uber expensive life pedal by earthquaker?

Would add a digitech hendrix experience wah because aside from having a wah and fuzzface model, it has a ton of other modeled effects in one box. Including a rotovibe, tape flanger, Leslie, octave fuzz, reverb, delay. Cheers from so cal

Going to sound a little weird, but I use a HM2 for a doom sound. It works. It's a very crunchy doom, kind of like Black Tomb. I don't know what makes it work, because it's that death metal pedal, but I love it. Could you maybe branch out and check out a HM2 and see if you can make it work for your sound? I use it the same way that everyone else does, everything to 10.

Greetings from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

I have a Big Muff Pumpkin Pi and a Catalinbread Sabbra Cadabra pedals for Doom music.

I also have a Boss Metal Zone MT-2, Turbo Distortion DS-2, Super Overdrive SD-1 and a Marshall Jackhammer JH-1 when I want to play heavier Doom music (more modern sound) or color a little bit my tone.

The Super Overdrive I use it more for guitar solos - I set its overdrive level quite low, about 9 o'clock, raise up a far bit of the volume louder than my clean/off effect and dirty volume levels and set the tone to darken a little bit, about 12 o'clock or less, thus pronouncing more the middle frequencies, perfect for solos. The SD-1 has a strong output, enhancing any tone and volumes to highlight the guitar. And I put it as the last distortion pedal in the chain.

I must say the Jackhammer does a pretty decent job for Doom music, even with Sabbath tones (although I know early 70's Sabbath relies more on fuzz type effect than distortion effect itself). It is a powerful and one of the most underrated pedals out there.
