Massive controversy has erupted over the Uber Files, an investigation involving dozens of news organizations which found that Uber officials leveraged violent backlash from the taxi industry against drivers to garner support and evaded regulatory authorities. They are still not protecting us drivers. I've lost count how many times I have had male passengers grab my breast or ask me to have sex with them. Uber did nothing to help. Even during the riots in Austin tx (from the George Floyd crap) I was shot at while dropping a passenger off near the downtown. Or the fact that my car was keyed that same night because I would not get out of my car & side with them. I stopped driving for uber for 18months over it. I still don't feel safe driving for them now. About 1in 7 of my passengers is rude & disrespectful. That talk down to you & it doesn't help that uber takes 25-50% of what we make. Yes they give us bonuse trips but only in certain areas. And now with there level system its even harder to get enough rides to get the bonuses.
