Uber Profits expectations are too high. They're robbing their drivers. Uber keeps uo to 50% of the fares. They need to be regulated.

I’ve been having to take Uber to take myself to and from work the last few months after my car was totaled and that alone costs me $800 a month!! On top of that I’ve had multiple drivers tell me that Uber takes an insane amount of the money earned from the ride and a lot don’t even know how the total price is calculated for the customer. Uber claims the increased prices is because of higher gas prices but the money isn’t even going towards the drivers when the customer is charged purely based on distance. Ubers just another greedy corporation that values profit over quality.

Not surprising here. They should look into how Uber many times take half the fair for themselves when the drivers are using their vehicles, gas, time, etc. Driver should always get at least 75% of the fair that uber charges the customer.

i work on uber and i can 100% say they are literally abusing couriers and this is the worst job in the world.

I work for uber, it’s a dogshit company that i pray fails and every person gets litigated . They’ve increased rider prices massively, yet i’m making less than i was in the pandemic . They’ve cut bonuses DRASTICALLY 80% . And they claim to give us 45 cents extra per ride for gas (my car and most cars are 15-25 cent per gallon to operate, not including oil & maintenance). It abhorrent and there 100% some shady business practices going on there . Customer support is nonexistent . I just do it because I am 23 and need a flexible schedule .

Helloooo.... have you seen the cost of gas? uber pays us drivers $.45 extra per ride for the surge in fuel cost. In my state of Pennsylvania fuel has doubled in these 8 months. As a driver for 5 years now it is not even worth it to do this anymore. If you're paying more it's definitely not going to us drivers. Please be generous with tips and positive comments make it worth it for us to serve you.
