My Accepted Art Portfolio + how to get in to Art School in France

Показать описание
To clarify, this is the portfolio that I presented to Art schools in Paris a few years ago (I'm in third year now so to see some new work check out my Instagram @_purple_palace). I get a lot of question on my Art and about how to get into Art school in France and so that is why I decided to do an Art tour of my accepted college art portfolio. I also wanted to give tips on the "concours" or application process and encourage you to be different in your style! I personally did a foundation year where I worked only on my art portfolio and studied art history, etc to help with the interview process. My portfolio is mostly made up of sculpture, and video (but some painting and illustration as well.) I think the application process for big art schools in Europe might be different than that of big schools like RISD or Parsons where there are a lot more students so I wanted to outline what to expect if you apply to fine art schools like the ENSBA (beaux arts de Paris) or L'ENSAPC (école d'art a cergy.) Even if you are only interested in studying abroad I think you will have a better idea at the end of the video such as the level of French expected and the interview process.
In France their aren't that many public "grande écoles d'art" or Fine Art colleges compared to the USA but the school system is MUCH cheaper (as in practically free) which is why so many of us do a foundation year of prepa art to help our chances of acceptance. Anyway I hope these tips helped you and you enjoyed getting a better look at my art book.
