Can’t imagine that. But I can imagine swimming at 2:12/100m for 2 minutes and 12 seconds.

Every breath you take
And every move you make
I'll be watching you. Nice technique!

This is Andy Donaldson, one of the current top long distance swimmers in the world. A really nice bloke too. The host of Effortless Swimming interviews him in a longer YouTube vignette. Very worthwhile if you want to improve your technique and efficiency.

No way! So in a 25 meter pool that's a 18 second every length. 50 meter pool= 36 seconds each length. Imagine continually keeping that pace for 4 hours 😮

In my mind I'm thinking this is what I look like, until I check my time and it says 2:45/100m

This rotation thing, is it ok to rotate more to the side you breathe? I find it hard to get even rotation on both sides

I’d be happy to swim freestyle at any pace for more than one lap 😂

Hardest thing for me is to keep the sync of my feet once I breathe.

No way . At this rate he should cover 20 km in 4 hours, i.e. 5 km per hour. Is it possible .

I thought was wrong to have the elbow the same height as the hand? Shouldn't it directly go drag water instead of extending the arm?

perfect example of your YT name "effortless swimming" taken to the extreme... really cool guy.

Wait! Does it include dolphin kick at the start and at every flipturn? I can’t imagine 1:12/100m w/o dolphine kicks.

Don‘t eliminate the pause at the front of his stroke 😉
