Hi! I just wanted to say that I have applied for my first placement to be a GP placement because of you! 😍 due to covid my university is allowing first year students to opt for a private placement and I jumped on the chance! I had never thought of GP nursing until you gave us information about it! Im really excited and really hope I get one! Thank you for sharing your journey and being such a positive role model to me ❤ xx

Hahaha I'd also feel so overwhelmed with these specific questions on the first day. That is an amazing opportunity!! I can't believe you have all those trainings without having to pay for a masters on your own! I've been researching for GP Nurse positions in my area (Liverpool) and what I've found is practices looking for nurses with GP experience?! I'm confused about when one can get these trainings funded by the GP haha. I think I might email one of these GP practices and ask if they provide the trainings because they mention that if one is new to the role they'd be in a preceptorship program. Are you a full time GP nurse? And were the courses every day Monday to Friday? And 6 months in total? Sorry for my questions, you're the only person who can give me information because I can't find all these precious information online, I guess the NHS wants most nurses being exploited on the wards which I'm tired to do now.
Anyway, as usual, thanks for your video and positivity, wishing you the best, I'm so proud of you knowing that you've finished everything now! you're amazing and your patients are lucky to be in your hands!

Even after four years into nursing I'm not sure I would be able to answer those specific questions D: (wasn't my area of expertise haha) But like you said you still have 9 months to learn things (and even more) ! Were you graded for this quizz :o ?
