I towed 8, 500 with my 2011 5.0 over 1200 miles. Had the cruise control set to 80mph. Very impressed. I love my truck

Cutting points for the chrome is kind of ridiculous, since Ford gives you the option of the sport package on the Lariat, which will remove all the chrome

After towing a big trailer through the mountains of northern British Columbia, I myself would not own any other truck. The 5.0 is amazing, especially with the Borla exhaust I put on it.

I'll take the 5.0L over any small block v8 any day. Reliable, dependable, and it's got lot's of torque and power. Plus it get decent mpg without any cylinder deactivation. Personally I'm fine with chrome but I still will take the all painted bumpers.

Love my 2015 5.0! Got the sport package 4x4 XLT NO CHROME!!! The charcoal 20" wheels look awesome too. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I have a 2015 F150 V8 crew cab and I love it. The truck rides amazing is reliable and my truck does average 19 miles/gallon. If I travel 55 m/h it does 23 m/g. Fantastic!

Fords grade shifting is fantastic. Really love always seeing my current gear as well.

Kent is the man! Ike Gauntlet would not be the same without him. Damn that sounds good! Best engine note so far.

I like my 5.3L. The difference in the time and fuel mileage is really the same results. If it were a minute difference and 2mpg, then I'd say the results were differnet.

I don't agree with point deduction for chrome. It's an optional package, not a mandatory thing.

Absolutely love my 5.0 F150. Got it brand new from the dealer 2WD XLT Supercrew with luxury interior package. Best part is its a SPORT so no chrome. Was able to talk the dealer down to 38k$ out the door.

The seal is great for keeping noise down and climate controlled in the cab. Yet it does cause issues in freezing weather. I would recommend a remote start if you live in a cold area

Just bought a 2011 with the ecoboost, I’m absolutely loving it so far!! I’ve always been a Toyota guy, but my fj cruiser wasn’t even close to being able to my small camper…. And the price of a tundra is absolutely ridiculous. Driving 3500 miles from Colorado Springs to soldotna Alaska in 2 days… excited to see how the truck does!!

For those that dislike the chrome (myself included), there are XLT and Lariat Sport packages which paint all the chrome to color-match, and also replace the fake wood and other trim in the interior with carbon fiber inserts.

I have a 14 355 super crew tow 8000km across country every winter to snowbird. 5500lb travel trailer. Never lets me down.

Wow. 60 mph at the top for the ford and 52 mph at the top for the chevy but 808 vs 812
Somebody cheated at the bottom (over 60 ) to get there before the
ford. It cost the ford a point

Love my 2015 XLT 5.0 S.cab 4x4. She's my daily and she's a working girl. Sneezes at everything I throw at it.
