I met Evidence in Denver when he was touring with Brother Ali (08-09). He was just chilling at the merch booth before the show. Everyone around him and nobody knew it was him. I looked at a flyer with his pic on it, looked up snd he was right there. Said what’s up and told him I’m a big fan and love Dilated. He signed the flyer I had, I told him I was super excited to see him and when he shook my hand, he said “then you better rock the fuck out tonight!”. He was a such a nice, humble guy. Met Ali too after the show and he was same, super friendly and humble. And they both put on such killer sets! Grateful to have met them and glad to see Ev still making music. Cheers to Evidence, Rhyme Sayers, and all the real hip hop in the world!

My favorite joint on the album. Takes me to another zone. It's so hypnotic, and it's got some of the most intricate flows on the album, but they still sound effortless. Out of all the producers Ev regularly works with, the Ev and Nottz combo is the one that doesn't get enough props. I'd love at least an EP from Ev and Nottz some time before I leave this earth. This is just beautiful music.
