How to Test Your 1RM (One Rep Max) on Bench Press. After taking some time off from flat bench I wanted to see where I was at for my max. I did this workout to assess my Close Grip Bench strength to be able to build from this point forward. Bench Press MAX. Reps for Jesus.
Form started to break around 315lbs. Pushed to failure at 335lbs.
