It's Summer in Japan! This week I got to visit some summer fireworks festivals in Tokyo! Including Adachi firework festival and the Sumidagawa firework festival. When I think of summer in Japan I always imagine going to matsuris and trying on Yukata, so glad I got to live out my summer in Japan dreams! Also this week I want to introduce 2 aesthetic cafes with amazing views in Shibuya!

The Sumida River Fireworks Festival is the origin of Japanese fireworks festivals.
The original meaning of Japanese fireworks festivals is to mourn, repose, and drive away epidemics.
Fireworks festivals in Japan have become a summer tradition, but because they are so crowded with so many people, it is difficult to see them nearby.
It would be better to watch it from a nearby hotel or inn or the place from some distance.
Below are some of Japan's famous giant fireworks festivals that I recommend.

1. Nagaoka Fireworks Festival in Niigata Prefecture　
2. Tsuchiura Fireworks Festival in Ibaraki Prefecture
3. Omagari Fireworks Festival in Akita Prefecture
