Tokyo's Most Popular Fireworks Show 2024 // 4K HDR

Every year on the banks of the Sumida river, on the eastern side of central Tokyo, the most popular fireworks show takes place. Each year, and estimated 750,000 to 1 million people come out to see the fireworks. In the most central area just under the fireworks the police work very hard to herd the massive crowd. This year I opted to enjoy the view from a bit further away in comfort, on the river bank near Minami-senju. The view was spectacular, along with Tokyo Skytree in the background.

It’s very lifelike, as if I’m there watching the fireworks in person. Awesome~

One of the best hanabi sequences I’ve seen. Lots of new (to me at least) effects and a couple of new colours as well. Thank you so much for posting.

I'd imagine the people on those party boats would have some spectacular views of the fireworks.
Welcome back from retirement lol.
