I see lots of men that are overweight, out of shape & unhealthy so they lack testosterone & have higher estrogen levels therefore lack ambition, drive, anxiety, depression. Do you see that these factors interfere greatly?

As to women maybe asking what if I'm not that feminine...I can completely relate. I'm by trade a businesswoman and hang well in that world... and mostly my friends (the most fun ones anyhow) have been guys. A few girl friends...and I get along with females...but honestly I tend to get along with the black sheep females better than the ones everyone else likes...

I do want to reassure women like me that you CAN get into your feminine. Based on personal experience though, that you can't do that with the wrong guy, a non-masculine guy that doesn't really move the needle. I spent years married to a man that was, to be frank, effeminate.... I didn't realize it when I married him...he hid much from my eyes until about half a year into our marriage (and I did wait over a year...just not long enough !). Plus, my cultural training was that women were powerful and could do whatever they wanted, and I bought in. I always loved men, but also my independence and success. Not that many read this anymore, but think Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind...tended to be emasculating without even knowing it, I am sure.

Years later, enter very masculine man who was for once as taken with me as I was with him, and I found myself acting like a submissive little 50's woman, and LIKING it. Taking his clothes suggestions (he never told me WHAT to wear controlling-like...just told me what he liked), his food/ drink suggestions, being led, wanting to support him and trusting his leadership even when I didn't understand it, which is HUGE for me (I'm not often compliant if I don't understand WHY...that's a long-standing thing).

So it can happen.

That said, though I acted very feminine with him, there are still some ways I was in my masculine and didn't even know it. That's where these guys come in... I have used some of their techniques and they DO help. Thanks for all your efforts to help us understand, Brody and Matt. :-)

I fell in love with my husband because he is so masculine. He says he loves my softness. A woman will only submit to a man she knows will have her back. Women become masculine because we don't have good men in our lives. Fatherless daughters are a prime target for predators. Women need their fathers to be feminine.
