I thought that H&R was called New England Firearms for a while too. I have seen a lot of their Shotguns and revolvers call NEF.

I have a variety of shotguns but something is special about my old HR 12 single shot. Rescued it from a Pawn Shop for $70 sanded her down and restained it in antique walnut. High gloss x 2. Squirrel, rabbit, turkey, grouse, and whitetail all in the freezer. Newer isn't always best .

The 20ga was my very first shotgun or real gun. Im 54 and I got it for Xmas back around in 1970s. It was the happiest Xmas mom n dad ever gave me. I felt like I was king of the world lol. I remember watching western movies laying down in front of the TV. Cable just had came out. I couldn't wait to get out to shoot it. I dreamed of defending the home to taken giant grizzly bears lol. Single shots are so fun! My dad has an old 16 gauge. Need to look at that again and see how old.

i have an old H&R 1901 that was passed down to me by my great great grandpa, i wish i knew more about it but i never got the chance. dude i would literally do anything for that tamer that one looks so amazing to me. thanks for the history on H&R!

I have the H&R Topper Model 58 12ga. made in 77 and was my Santi Claws gift in 78 and was my very 1st real gun of any kind and now I can throw all kinds of different lead calibers down range like .22LR, .22Mag, .38Spec, 9mm, .45Colt, .410bore, 20ga and yes shoot it like a muzzleloader using the 12ga. 209 muzzleloader adapter !!!

Palmetto State Armory owns the rights and tooling to produce the H&R firearms line. They are now producing M16s and AR15’s right now.

I have an 088 in 12 ga that was my Dads. I had bought it for him years before for his birthday. He killed a lot of squirrels with that shotgun! It’s one of a few guns I would never give up. Thanks for the video!

A Topper 20 gauge was my first "real" gun and I will always have a soft spot for them. Wonderfully simple, utilitarian weapons. Nice to see them getting some love!

I wish PSA would look at production of the Handi Rifles. I own several in different calibers, and several old H&R shotguns, and a couple single action rimfire revolvers

My model 88 is great! I put a gel pad on the back, the slip on kind. Makes it longer and little bit too. My wife can shoot it. 👍🏼. 20 gauge

My most unique H&R is a model 176 in 3 1/2" 10ga. It has a long barrel for goose and a short smooth bore slug barrel. The slug barrel has open sights, it is also drilled and tapped for a scope.

Dad got me a 158 topper in .20ga when I was about 10. One of the best small game guns in existence in my opinion. Passed it to my son.
