When large groups take up the entire sidewalk! So rude!

This video should be shown in high schools, universities and everywhere else as basic guide to humans how to not behave!😂

Jane Austen said “Manners is what holds a society together. At bottom propriety is concerned for other people. When that goes out the window, the gates of hell are shortly open, and ignorance is king”

Taking a picture is one thing, but expecting the entire world to stop because you're creating content is something else. And then when girls go with 'Do you know who I am?' tone of voice and mannerism. How embarrassing..
A great video!

Boomer here. In my times, accepting an invitation and then not showing up would be unforgivable. Such a person would never be invited again. Even if your mother had just died, a brief phone call would still be expected.
A general principle, which my mother instilled into me very firmly: "Who do you think you are, that you should have the right to inconvenience someone else or make someone wait for you?"

I hate three things:
1. People who start filming around them without realizing there’s other people who maybe don’t want to be filmed. They literally aim towards everyone else around them
2. Going out to eat with friends and when the food comes they take forever to take the perfect picture of the dish. I don’t mind them taking one picture but sometimes they take forever to do it, or even move the plate around so they get it perfect.
3. The same friends at the restaurant who spend the whole evening looking at their phones instead of spending time with us. That’s really rude.

I’ve never used social media (apart from YouTube and Pinterest), so maybe I don’t know what I’m saying but I find these attitudes to be really rude.
Great video!

If you're traveling to a major city (ie. New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, etc.) and you're walking around texting or taking pictures... just stand to the side near a building, and let people walk past. It's common sense!!

As a baby boomer, what I enjoy about your channel is all that you are teaching young women today. We always appreciated an invitation and showed up, and on time. We always dressed nicely and exhibited good manners. There seemed to be a lot more self respect when I was growing up. I find it so refreshing to see what you have done with your life Anna, Showing young ladies or any woman that we can turn our life around and make good choices for ourselves. You really have become a lovely young woman. We need good role models today.

The lack of manners nowadays is astounding. I had people RSVP to my wedding, ask for their +1s to attend, and then neither of them showed for the actual wedding. People who don't say "thank you" when you go out of your way to help them. People who will go to church, dressy events, etc in bike shorts and a tube top. The list goes on!

I am forever grateful that I grew up before social media and mobile phones. My parents taught me how to behave in public and sadly, good manners are in short supply nowadays. I feel so sorry for young people who seem lost in this world, particularly when they are inconsiderate of others and ignorant of how they appear.

I notice that people will tell you about themselves, but never ask how you are doing. And then, if they do ask, they look pained to have listen to the response, or worse: pull out their phone. Like you say "me, me, me" and nothing else.

Most of these are just about being a nice, respectful person. I agree with everything.

I can't point my finger on the timeline where the sense of community was overpowered by the saying "you don't owe anyone anything". We do owe respect and basic manners to the people around us and we do have to take into consideration how our actions impact them.

Super flakiness is such a pandemic! So many times people don't even bother to answer invites. And when they do "maybe" means no and "yes" means maybe. They are so scared that something "better" may come up. Or if they'll "feel like" coming in the moment. It's super immature and self-centered.

What scares me is the amount of people glued to their phones while DRIVING!!!! I grew up in the 90's, no cell phones yet. I cannot imagine anything so important that I need to look at my phone while doing 70 on the highway!!

Also manners is a big pet peeve. The amount of absolutely rude, entitled people walking around scares me. No please, no thank you, very demanding. Ugh

It saddens me when i'm on the bus or doing some errands and i see parents with their babys talking on the phone all the time. Or writing massages or playing games. Come on! Interact with your children!!! Smile at them, talk to them!!! Show them something in the environment, what ever!!! But DO something with them. It really breaks my ❤ to see these babies, trying to get eye contact with their parents and all they do is looking at their phone. As a parent these things CAN wait, it's not an emergency. We just think we have to be available all the time. No, we haven't. We survied many years before the phone was invented. The world doesn't stop, when you are not on your phone for 30 minutes. You will survive!

I think regarding 'social responsibility', people have been trained to see one another as disposable, and easily replaced. Like I don't have to put in effort with you because I can just find another person I can call friend until they're not convenient anymore. You see it in dating all the time. People will break up for the most asinine reasons because it's easier to find a fresh, new, exciting partner, than work on building a serious relationship with the one you have.

I have a friend , she is 45 yo, phone addicted… instagram all that bull stuff.. and i got fed up of her on the phone every time we go about to eat. I told her that that behavior is so rude and she said that i am antiquated 😮 and that simply she can’t change who she is. It is unbelievable the degree of narcissism of some.
