I found this video last year and got the solution i needed quick for the laptop i had then. Bought a new laptop and needed to know how to create the quick action once more for heic-->jpeg.

You are a saviour. The iMazing app worked. The first method did not give me a "Quick Action", but instead a "Quick Look" which didn't work. Apple needs to make this an automatic/choice action in their iPhoto!

wasnt able to get my automator to do it but the HEIC converter app worked like a charm. wonderful. glad i didnt have to open/save each file in PS.
