Spring is a time of new growth and renewal. Your body responds to the seasons and specific yoga can help you connect with the seasonal energy and support the body as we move from winter into the warmer months of spring. Spring is characterised by warmer days, increased levels of daylight, and windy conditions that can lead to allergies/hay fever due to higher pollen counts from flowers and grass seeds. By twisting into the body and opening the sides, we work into the energy of the liver and gall bladder which help improve our immune system, release congestion and promote energy flow in the body. Do this class if you want to feel refreshed and lighter and allow yourself to open up to the energy and positive new direction that spring can bring.
This class is aimed at a beginner-intermediate level. Please pay close attention to the instructions and take care with yourself.
