This is so true in my case. I was always thin throughout my school and college days, after moving to another city my food habits changed, ate more junks and in just few months I gained over 15kilos. Now I'm working on my diet and going back to home cooked food and healthy eating with some exercise.

Yeah i agree with you . I am a lactating mother and according to doc breastfeeding need 500 calorie extra so as per calculation i should eat around 2100 calories ...But i eat around 2900-3000 caorie per day ...i quantify my food and at 2100-2200 i feel very hungry ...so i eat extra and still i am losing weight slowly like i lost 8 kg in last one year...I am on feet whole day ..my two kids their needs and other chores keep me occupied ...i naturally dont sit and work...i feel like if i am standing my productivity is high ...so i love to walk stand and do my work ....6 Am to 10 PM i am on feet ...i dont get tired so i love doing it ...i could not do workout but yeah i was doing before baby ...and will do when things got little better as my baby is very small ...I am still 8-9 kg above my Pre pregnancy weight .

This is absolutely true. I have tried everything but still I am more lean than you. Nothing affects me at all. My mom is like you have to gain weight. I always keep eating but still I am lean. But my energy is the same😅

Metabolism is not just limited to weight gain or loss....It is how your body functions on an internal level...Have you seen some thin people who have saggy skin and not enough muscle while some ppl who are fat hv glowing skin and not appear as old....

Good metabolism means you hv clear skin, good appetite, higher energy levels and not just about weight gain or loss...

I am extremely thankful because ppl always think eating pattern is the only reason ppl gain or lose weight

They never think of concepts like metabolism, eating disorder, hormonal issues, activity, bone weight, etc etc

They are busy in judging them by beauty standards, never consider about there physical and mental health and how the bodyshaming judgment effect them.

This is high time ppl educate themselves about the health standards rather than body standards,

Always think of being healthy than fitting the beauty standards of the so called society.

Being leans should be concept of being healthy not being beautiful

I eat 5 meals including a smoothie . mt calorie count for all of them is 2500-2600, still i can't get past 52kg mark . my smoothie alone is 1100 calories

I am always dieting, eat one tenth of what others eat, and i m borderline overweight & always gaining weight 😭
I guess it's because i have zero physical activity and don't step out of home is one of the biggest reason

I eat a lot of unhealthy food, i dont exercise, i dont go to gym, i spend most of the time staying in my room and watching movies ..and i sleep late and wake up late ...

Which is the most unhealthy habit ...
But still i am ripped and my body is equivalent to a person who goes to gym ... Idk

But from today i am deciding to make my habit better .. lets see if i can do it or not...
I will comment here again afater a month .. lets see if i succeed hehe !!!

I'm one of those people I'm stuck at cap 61 kg no matter how much I eat
And used to run a lot but I'm still not gaining weight even though I stopped running for 3 months
Funny thing is my weight was 63 kg when I was running everyday

My age is 22 weight is 61 but still looks so much fragile and skinny. Also I am low in confidence due to this.

i am 36 years old female 172 cms tall slim built not skinny
I observed something
My age decided my weight
I was 42kgs till 20-25
47 between 25-30
52 between 30-34
Once i crossed 35 i became 57-58
What ever i do i am not able to change my weight
In my 20s i wanted to gain weight
Now I am trying to reduce
Nothing worked then nothing is working now

I am very underweight (42kg/163cm), and i have very little appetite. At most i can eat 1500 calories. Whenever I eat more, my stomach goes bad. I get full on a relatively low diet. This weak body is taking so much from my life, i am very low on confidence 😢.

Sir I have doubt... My family is also of not slim figured type neither I was till 19 years... I was 58kgs. But at the age of 21 years I am 43Kgs and I am eating and then also not gaining even 1Kg in 1year.
