Kitchen is a term of endearment in pickleball. The official name is no-volley zone… unless the ball bounces in the “kitchen”, then you can move into this zone to play it, the ball. Then you must move out quickly to continue playing.

Do players ever change ends as they do in tennis to avoid a situation where one player has an advantage due to the wind or sun conditions?

Good video but it is a little confusing to beginners.

You should say that after the server serves the ball it begins a rally and when the rally ends, according to the rules, the rally is won by either side.

A point is only given to the server when the server wins the rally. The receiver of the serve never wins a point as you say, the receiver can win the rally.

A point can only be given to the server if the server wins the rally. If the receiver wins the rally he does not win a point, he only wins the rally and then the receiver becomes the server
