Toyota/Lexus Check PCS System Warning (Fixed)

OK, for the better part of a month, I've had a "Check PCS System" warning on my 2016 Toyota Sienna.

This meant the Pre-Collision System and Radar Cruise would not work, but otherwise, it was still drivable

TechStream came up with 3 DTC's (P1572, B2090 and C1A11)

I was able to clear the P1572 code, but the B2090 and C1A11 remained.

I tried several scan tools and methods for clearing (including disconnecting the battery), but no luck in clearign the two remaining codes or removing the warning.

I did a bit of research, but all I found online were posts of people with the same problem having the dealership either do an expensive recalibration or replace millimeter wave sensors and/or Radar ECU's adding up to thousands in repair costs.

Then I stumbled upon a repair manual for a 2006 Lexus IS/GS models which stated how to adjust the axis beam automagically by using this method:

1) Turn Ignition Switch ON
2) Turn Cruise Main Swith ON
3) Depress Brake pedal and set the Cruise Control Main Switch to RES/ACC 3 times within 3 seconds

After racking my brain for a month and having the dealer quote me $500 just to re-calibrate, I can't believe I stumbled upon this quick and easy fix for a stupid warning light.

Went on a test drive and all systems seem to function like normal.

Radar cruiser works fine and the PCS flashes the "BRAKE!!" warning when closing in on a slower moving vehicle at a high rate of speed (scared a few folks on the way home tonight lol)

Anyways, if you have this warning on your dash, might wanna give this a shot if all you want to do is get rid of it.

Hi all, this reset worked the first time for a day, then again next day it started giving warnings, and i tried many times to do this same reset but didn't worked again. Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Trying on a 2008 LX570. “Radar Cruise Beam Axis Adjustment” message appears, but nothing else. Just stays at that stage. Is anything else supposed to happen? Do I turn the vehicle off, or just start driving, or turn the cruise control off? Just wondering if there’s anyway to finalize this to make the “fix” stick.

My RCF just says adjusting front radar beam but the lights stay on.
