How to Import Patches (.patch files) or presets into Logic Pro X

I'll teach you how to import patch files, sometimes called presets (.patch files) into Logic Pro X! This is different than channel strip settings (.cst files), presets (.pst files), or logic pro templates. I have video links below on how to install those.

Thanks brother. No clue why Apple doesn't just make a simple import button right in the software instead of hiding it under so many layers. I had to drag the patches into the instrument folder in order for it to work, not the audio one. Either way prob could not have figured it out without this vid, thank you!

What about trying to import patches into an au instrument - like a synth patch that somebody designed. I can’t click it and import it, it’s not highlighted or clickable. Is that a security thing?
