Where was Jesus after the Baptism Contradiction Professor Bart D Ehrman

This is McLatchie’s objection:

"This, then, is not the baptism narrative itself but rather John giving testimony to what had happened on an earlier occasion. Bart Ehrman once again has simply misread the text." - Jonathan McLatchie

I’m not exactly sure what McLatchie means by “on an earlier occasion”. If he means that this occasion was, in fact, Jesus’ baptism, I suppose his interpretation makes sense. But if he’s implying that the “the Spirit descended from heaven like a dove” on two separate occasions, then that seems a little odd.
Do you think this is John’s way of narrating the events of the baptism, without narrating the actual baptism?

I wonder how many others were baptized by John the Baptist, and what he said to the others. For all we know JTB could have said that to all.

Same thing with the Clearing of the temple event. In the book of John Jesus clearing the temple area and driving out sellers selling things on in the temple happens at the start of the book of John but in Matthew Mark and Luke that event doesn't happen until on after the ("triumphal entry, ") on into Jerusalem

The clearing of the temple of ("Jesus Clears the temple, ") is an ("earlier occasion, ") on in the book of John (before) the ("triumphal entry into Jerusalem, ") happens

The fig tree withering incident too is dated on in the book of Matthew before the clearing of the temple the day before the clearing of the temple then in the book of Mark the ("next morning.")

In the book of John Jesus names Simon as Peter when he first meets him (when Jesus first sees Peter that is) but in Matthew 16 Jesus doesn't call Simon Peter until much much later

The text never says John baptised the Messiah on that day. John is simply giving an account of when he did preform the baptism. However there are a lot of odd things about John's gospel. If you notice in Matthew, Mark and Luke. Peter and his brother are on a boat fishing when the Messiah finds them, but in John they start following the Messiah right after John the Baptist gives this talk.

In Matthew Mark and Luke it isn't shown written on what Jesus says about, ("destroying the temple within 3 day's then raising it up.")

Please!

John 1
19 This is John’s testimony WHEN the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him, “Who are you?”

20 ... then what they asked and what he answered to them ... 28

29 The next day(From WHEN the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites, not from when he baptized Jesus ) John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Here is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

But the writer's of the book of Matthew Mark and Luke write that Jesus said that based on what the Jews take and tell the high priest and the Sanhedrin the chief priest's and the elders of the Sanhedrin

Jesus did not need to be baptized if he was god.
