I definitely think the survey they gave us will be for Season 3 DLC. But I'm super excited for finally getting DLC to main game, not huge fan of standalone side stories tho.

I am not gonna lie and maybe I am minority but I am sorely disappointed by the type of DLC they are releasing. I expected the continuation of the non-mythic folk adventure and the companion sounds OKish but Citadel à la Mass Effect 3 for WOTR? They could have improved or added things to Mythic Paths but this just seems like meh. I probably shouldn't complain but just stating my opinion.

Wish they would make DLCs like expanded and fleshed out late game mythic paths to make them full mythic paths, a new mythic path, post game story expansion like throne of bhaal or planar adventures against entities trying to steal your place in the cosmos (very much doable despite claims to the contrary). The mythic path system is the big unique feature of the game and they should leaning into it, not making side stories that strip it away.

they should have made end-game continuation dlc. mythic classes were the biggest appeal of the game, so it makes sense to spend more time playing with them.

Cool. I love that Owlcats is planning to continue supporting WotR even 1 year+ after the game launched. It does seem a bit strange to be adding little side stories into the main campaign now that so much of their core audience has probably already played through the game (as opposed to like, stand alone stuff, or post-game stuff), but I'll take what I can get!

I prefer Throne of Bhaal style expansions over these kinds of DLC. Hopefully their next game/story allows for an easier continuation and would let them do a proper expansion.

For the Shifter I really hope we get the swarm shifter archetype. It saddens me that I can't play a swarm that walks without being evil or loosing my companions. So an option to get some swarm fun in and mix it with different mythic paths would be cool.

I would really like to see more prestige classes added to the game. There are very few martial prestige classes, and most of those revolve around playing a Dex character. I would love to see more Strength based prestige classes that could better compliment a heavily armed fighter or barbarian.

Ugh so we get a companion doc but no post game dlc to actually use our powers? Who tf voted for that?

Main game is so great that all dlcs are feeling underwhelming to be honest. I always welcome additional class/race in the game though, I would prefer new race like other elementals or beasts. Also, as you have said in your earlier videos, we have too many classes already and extra one with many archetypes will introduce many bugs. I don't really have a strong opinion on the 5th dlc but, I would like it if it will have more to do with the main game than one small dungeon. Last dlc is hard to say anything about as we don't have many information about it. I would like to have more content in later part of the game and many assume that this one would be in chapter 5. If that would be like that, I wonder how they are going to implement this dlc, if pc is a swarm or lich.

I don't know if I'm alone in thinking that all WOTR DLC seems gimmicky, and as a result I just can't get into it. I play the game and love it for the RP and story elements. And unless I'm mistaken (since I haven't purchased any of the DLCs, but have heard of them.) none of them continue the campaign or story of your character. They're all about playing other characters, some leaderboard type thing, and other content, but nothing that continues your story. I would like more chunks of story to play through with my character, as in now I need to go to this land (one of the MANY other countries mentioned in the ingame lore) because this has happened. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm alone in this but that's where I'm sitting on this right now. I don't get excited for new gimmicks like timed content or playing short stories with other characters. I hope we get more of what the core game is.

The one thing that makes me think the Kenabres DLC might be an Act 5 thing is the fact that your romance choice isn't 'officially' locked in until that act, so it might be odd if you have multiple romantic interests you're pursuing
Act 3 does make the most sense overall though

I dunno feels somehow luckluster. Through the Ashes is fine. But who really cares about romances and the citadel like DLC? Give us more late game stuff/ mythic paths.

I feel like the 3rd DLC would fit better in Act 5. Some romances aren't available in Act 3. You can't recruit Trevor until act 4 and a companion focused DLC would make the most sense, when their story arcs are finished.
It would also make more sense from a narrative perspective, in my opinion. It takes time to rebuild a city and Act 2 and 3 only take a few months. And If there is party celebrating the reconstruction of Kenabres, it would only be logical to invite the person, who saved the city.

I had no idea until trying it on the deck last week...how good Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous is...i had read some negative reviews and let that taint my view for a few months...thankfully Steam Sales absolve all...and im glad i did try it...amazing game.

The Adaptive Shifter archetype was added in a later splatbook and was a decent bandaid for the class, I hope they use that as their base for WotR.

Man they really missed the boat with WOTR. If these DLCs let us continue to play our mythic characters, this would stand as one of the best rpgs out there.
