Pathfinder: WotR - The Lord Of Nothing DLC Review

Talking about my experiences with the Lord of Nothing DLC right as it launches. Owlcat Games provided me early access to said DLC. This one brings a stand alone module as well effects on the main campaign, on top of 15 new archetypes.

Mort: “5-10 hours”
Everyone else: “10-15 hours, got it.”

For anyone curious: You do need the dlc to get the new archetypes.

Ill be honest, I was never a fan of standalone DLC stories. I greatly prefer adding to my main campaign character rather than learning about some new person I generally don't care about.

As someone who played BG and BG2, I can't believe I have missed out on Pathfinder and BG3!! I just bought both this weekend and ... OOOF brain overload! LOL thanks for the video and happy gaming!

I'll probably never play this game but I enjoy hearing about it.

I’m really glad that they added stuff to Act 5, some additional content is appreciated.

I need to revisit WotR. I have a habit of finding a great RPG that I love, spending a few hundred hours playing it obsessively, and then getting burnt out near the end of the game and never actually finishing the game. That’s what happened with WotR when it first came out, and that is what has been happening lately with BG3. In any case, I will definitely go back to finish WotR, and I’ll play the DLCs, as well (hopefully).

Don't forget the new mythic feats! Now wearing armor gives a few buffs in both defense and offense(regill is beyond broken with heavy armor focus-assault) and surprisingly bard classes and magus also got some cool mythic abilities!

What I loved about the different zones you visit to get the shards is each area has a self contained story. You come in, touch their lives, and leave just as fast as you arrived, it's kinda poetic.

In case anyone was wondering it did launch at $12.99

This expansion was awesome. This combined with Through the Ashes are easily my favorite instalments of WOTR. It was incredibly rewarding to play an entirely different mini-campaign.

Man, those are the types of content that I like the most on your channel, Pathfinder! I started to enjoy it more than DnD per say.

Your review literally came out 10 minutes before the release trailer. This man is too fast!

Is the shard mecanic and the android companion a clue that after Rogue Trader Owlcat are gonna do Iron Gods? Because I could see that.

Listening to the summary of Lord of Nothing, I can definitely see parallels with POE2's Beast of Winter.

I loved both the DLCs and beat both them in a consecutive run on core, and after the ending I am super excited to fight the new demon lord in my new main campaign

Imo the biggest flaw of wotr is lack of dlc where we can go forward with story. Love your channel.

Not sure which is more surprising, the dev's conviction to WotR, or yours. Thanks for the video. Onward to 300k. All glory to the algorithm.
