Pheasant is kinda like if you took a 6 lb. chicken then condensed and shrunk all that flavor down into a 2 lb. bird.

I was raised on pheasants & chucker. At 7 rs old I started working at a game ranch on week ends and after school. A lot of Hunters would gift me their birds all the time.

My mom’s father hunted pheasant when she was growing up so she ate it all the time. To the point where she would get tired of it and trade pheasant sandwiches for peanut butter and jelly at school. I want to try it some day. Don’t get much opportunity to try wild game unfortunately.
