Keeping NEMO: Are Clownfish GOOD PETS & Easy To Take Care Of?

We take a look at the much loved Common Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) and whether they make good pets & are easy to take care of? . Clownfish require a saltwater aquarium to keep but are pretty hardy aquarium fish otherwise. As such they require minimal equipment to keep and are relatively hardy compared to other reef fish.

Love my clowns they always, I mean always give me aggressive kisses any time my hand is near them. Mine don't hurt at all though, maybe too small. 3 years old. They started laying eggs a couple months ago.

I think the Clarkii Clown will not attack a male if you put in another male at half the length (50% length) of the current female with a long time floating the bag.
With such a small male, the current female will exert dominance immediately. And not feel threatened in the slightest to her dominance of the tank - and should accept the male as the mate.
Obviously all individuals are different, but I would think that would work more times than not.
Also the much smaller fish has to go in last.

Hello, I have a couple questions about keeping macroalgae in estuariums. First is the Scinaia spp., Gracilaria tikvahiae and other algae in this species will survive in estuarium, freshwater with salt (let say 0, 6 % salt in water - 6 grams of salt for 1l of water)? Second is there any difference between reef salt and marine salt in case of that low % of salt in water?
