Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 review

With the Fold 3, it feels like Samsung has tried extremely hard to make a foldable smartphone-tablet hybrid work. But for now, despite all the progress Samsung has made, the Fold 3 is still not ready for the mainstream.

Watching on my fold 3, upgraded from z fold 2. I can't go back to a normal phone anymore man. I love this phone. Wife has the z flip 3 and she feels the same. Nice work Samsung!

I'm not shocked an Apple fangirl will nitpick any device that isn't Apple. I don't see how this device fails at being either a tablet or a phone. It is thin enough to be held in 1 hand as a phone, and you can pocket it as a tablet (with pen support no less). It is impressive at both!

Watching on .you Fold 3 I got on the 25th it's amazing. Best phone ever especially if upgrading from something like s10, I don't notice udc at all it completely vanishes when watching content and gaming unless you directly look at it, my first folding phone and I love it, I think it is 2 things at once when closed its narrow and perfect for one handed use when unfolded it's a tablet with a screen way better then the iPad mini. I think it does it really well.

I feel like it's a little bit of hyperbole to say that the z-fold 2 to was an "unimpressive" followup to the first. I owned the first one from day one until the second one came out, bought that one and, I just got the fold three yesterday. Call me bias because obviously I like the phone's otherwise I wouldn't have continued to purchase them but the fold 2 was definite improvement over the first and felt much more premium. Technology was still early but had definitely improved.

Unimpressive follow up? Everyone virtually unanimously agreed that the Fold 2 was a significantly more refined product vs the fold 1. The only real tangible differences with the fold 3 is water resistance, slightly more durable screen, and under display camera. Those are definitely practical improvements but it doesn’t diminish the improvement that the fold 2 was

Why do you people critique this innovative phone? It's ridiculous of course it's heavier and the gap is there but iPhone has not changed there design in like 5 years give me a break.

I got mine because I needed a tablet and do not want to carry 2 devices with me. This is perfect for what I need. Not for everyone but there is a market for it. One of the best things in the mobile world is being able to choose from different devices and form factors. In the end innovation is what drives us forward.

the only thing thats not ready for the mainstream is the price lol, the phone itself is already refine enough, ive seen it from the first one and i must say this one has huge improvements, the stock shortage is proof that people think highly of the phone and are willing to shell out the money to buy it. This lady here probably expect the phone to come with all the bangs like dustproof waterproof 108MP on each camera, 10, 000mah battery, 3D projection tech, direct satellite connection, indestructible chasis, sapphire glass, and 10TB storage lol.

That is why I unsubd from this channel, I seen multiple reviews that give this high praise and really feel the phone is ready for prime time. the fold 2 was not an impressive upgrade?. It shows you don't use Samsung, you only get a unit for review.
