There aren't any very obvious visual changes to the Z Fold 4 hardware when compared to last year's Z Fold 3. The Z Fold 4 is a little lighter and better proportioned than the previous model. One of the biggest complaints from a lot of users was that the Fold was too tall and narrow, making for an odd cover display shape and weird feeling for one-handed use. Samsung has addressed this one by making the device a little shorter and a little wider. In the hand, just that small almost imperceptible design change makes the devices feel a lot more comfortable to use.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4's 7.6-inch internal display now has a 21.6:18 aspect ratio, compared to the Fold 3’s 22.5:18, while the external screen has a 23.1:9 format instead of last year’s 24.5:9. More importantly though ,that foldable internal display is now 45 percent stronger than last year, and that's a big deal.

The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 price starts at $1,799 with a release date of August 26 in a variety of colors. That's a lot of money, but I think most understand that the technology that goes into making a device like this isn't cheap. However, you can pick up last years Galaxy Z Fold 3, which is still a fantastic device, for $800 right now at Best Buy - link in the description. Hmmm, I checked out Best Buy & the 3 is still running for $1499.

However, I checked into the bundles Samsung is offering and cow…there are some savings if you plan to trade in towards the Fold 4. $1000 off, plus $300 instant credit for accessories. So essentially, the Fold 4, S pen and case, Samsung pro watch & the Buds for less than $1000. That’s a steal.

Loving my Fold3. Definitely won't be upgrading, not enough changes. Fold 3 replaced my S22 Ultra. Miss the 10X zoom. Other than that, Fold amazing. Inner screen scratches a lot though. Lots of micro scratches.
How is that new zoom on Fold4? How does it compare to S22U at the same 30X magnification?

Hi mate, as you have already used fold3.i am planning to get zfold 4 and asit is the expensive phone pls let me know the ultra thin glass display of big screen will last for like 4-5 years as i want to use this phone for long time as primary phone..pls let me know thanks 🙏🙏🙏

Honestly I want to get a new phone and I can't choose between the Fold 4 or the Flip 4! I love using my phone for YouTube. Long videos, certain games like pool/poker/Chess. But I have the Note 10+ and it is very heavy. Its not an issue walking around but it's an issue if you want to go on jogs and hit the gyms. I love listening to music as well. So the Flip 4 will be great for how easy it would be to carry around especially while jogging ect. . I've never been so stuck on which phone I should choose.
