This isn't a complaint as much as it is an acknowledgement of an ANTI- CLIMATIC ending to the season. All year long UCONN played with a sense of destruction that no other team could seem to duplicate. They didn't just win games....they SMASHED their opponents. Even as I thought Purdue had " a chance ", they were no different. This isn't quite the same as say...an Alabama, LSU, or Michigan winning National Championships in football; it's much more mundane, predictable, & " off" - turning...much like the Lady Husky run a few years ago. What UCONN has done is GREAT for UCONN fans, & Alumni. For the rest of us, they've robbed us of what makes March " Madness
