Oof, Edwards getting tackled and thrown to the ground at 6:00, right in front of the ref, who completely ignored it, was hard to watch.
Then getting hit in the face on the way to the rim at 11:13, with no call. With a broken nose - oww.
Feels like after that she was like, "ok, so that's how it is with these refs? Fine, the gloves come off." And playing full contact tackle basketball from then on. I wish the refs would do their job.

I like UCONN's poise in this game. The reason that I love Paige's game is because she will always take what you give her and make more of it. That is often what will happen to a player after an big time injury. Their game becomes multi-leveled because it has to.
