Ancient Bones of Extinct Human Species Found in Cave

DAILY DOSE | Researchers have just discovered an ancient bone about 50,000 years old in a cave in Russia. The bone belongs to a child of two human-like species that are now extinct: Neanderthal and Denisovan. This is the most concrete proof that ancient humans, from tens-of-thousands of years ago, mated across species. Professor Israel Hershkovitz from the department of Anatomy and Anthropology at Tel Aviv University analyzes.
