I'm 16 and I come from Slovenia. I was looking for some videos about nursing, because I'm thinking about being a paramedic (if you want to be a paramedic in our country, you need to become RN and get tons of experiences from ER). Thank you for all this videos that you did, and I'm now even more convinced that this is what I want to do in my life.

This was a great video, as a teaser into fluids and thoughts on the subject. I work in a military setting we're fluid use is quite common, and is used in both a "field trauma" and clinical settings. I would love to get your thoughts more on the different types of fluids and when/why you use them in your settings at work. Love your blogs, very informative and personal touch to bring it all together. Keep up the good work 👍

Thanks this is helpful! Can you do a video about how to identify signs of symptoms that your patient isn't doing well? Or when it is appropriate to call a rapid response? This is 1 thing I feel like I struggle with as a new nurse. I usually know when vital signs are off but I'll see those veteran nurses know exactly when they "feel" like something is going wrong. I definitely don't have those spidey senses yet but would like tips on developing them. Thank you so much for your helpful videos and tips as they have been very practical and relatable!

Thank you so much for this!! I have a question to ask you, how do you feel about new nursing grads starting in ICU off the bat? I hear so many different reasonings why some people say its okay and some say no. Teachers, nursing coworkers, friends who did go straight into ICU and love it...so I'm just not sure. I know I want to work in ICU, specifically SICU because I worked as an aide in ICU and loved it. Learned so much from the nurses but want to know if its a right decision to do it straight out of school!! Ty!!!❤

Thank you so much for this video I didn't even know this. I only thought it was only one fluid and that anybody can have fluids " I thought you could give fluids to just about everybody" like for example I'm in clinical and I work inside a hospital ER and I've seen patients come in that's severely dehydrated and the nurses start an IV quickly and they usually just hang it to a wheelchair inside a waiting room because it's it's a emergency room no actual floor on the hospital I've even seen nurses administer normal Saline basically sodium drip as well they give it tk diabetes patients as well and other patients to they say fluids can't hurt at all so again thank you for making this video I'm going to go online and do some research and I'm also going to ask my instructor have a great day!! :-)
