Our DS came in hammered at 2 am one time, kicked some guy off of his bed (I guess because he was snoring?), yelled “SHUT THE FUCK UP”, and then left. I was on fire guard. No idea why he did that, but it was honestly hilarious.

at Benning we got woke up one morning by our DS walking in to the middle of the room and firing a SAW full of blanks at the ceiling. I thought someone was there to kill us. scariest thing ever

We got a new DS mid-cycle. Her first morning starting our day by herself, she said "good morning" to us. Scared the living shit out of us.

Brings back memories. So glad I had the privilege to go to fort Benning and do basic training.

For some reason out of all the videos. This one specifically gives me flashbacks.

My ds pulled the fire alarm so many times that the ft Benning fire dept complained about it, then the ds pulled it even more.

There's nothing, I mean absolutely NOTHING like being a Soldier.
Much respect to those who have served and those serving.

Literally just came from that same bay. I remember when DS Nelson and Wallace came in a flipped a table in there with all the weights on it. It was sick as fuck.

At good ole Benning, we met our Drills at 4 am with grenade simulators as a wakeup call.

05:30 wake up? I just graduated from Fort Benning one month ago and our first call was at 04:30. Although we only had one day where our drill sergeants woke us up. It was day one where they came in with trash can lids banging on them and air horns like this. We just had our fire guard wake us up at 04:30 every morning.

Whoever was last fire guard shift from 03:00-0:430 would turn the lights on every morning.

Honeslty in this 1:18 video it gave a better description of what benning will be like than most hour long videos

Respect to the DS at 0:53 to snapping to attention before giving a command. I doubt any of the trainees know you're supposed to do that, but discipline is doing the right thing when no one is watching.

That moment when they say wake up is at 0700 and they walk in at 0430... front leaning rest position move
