7 Jesus: The Angel of the Lord - The Trinity in the Old Testament Ep. 7 - Anthony Rogers and Al Fadi

The Angel of The Lord appears throughout the Old Testament and is always portrayed as divine. Anthony Rogers and Al Fadi prove from Old Testament scriptures that the Angel of the Lord is no other than Jesus himself, part of the Godhead, the second person of the Trinity.

Defining and explaining the Trinity is particularly important in talking about God, Christian theology, Jesus and Islam with Muslims who deny the Trinity and therefore the deity of Christ while at the same time claiming that Allah gave the Old Testament as a revelation to the Jews, as the People of the Book.

Angel means messenger...the messenger says what YHWH tells him to say. You can say that Yeshua (Jesus) is a (actually- THE) messenger of YHWH (His Father) Yeshua said that he only says what his Father tells him to say...the words he speaks are not his own, meaning he (Yeshua) is not the Father who gave the word. That's why he (Yeshua) says "If you have seen me you have seen the Father." When we speak with the Messenger of YHWH, we speak with YHWH's voice (so to speak) His ambassador to us. In essence we speak with YHWH, because the Angel/Messenger is empowered to speak for/as the Father. All power in Heaven and Earth has been given to him (Yeshua) because he speaks AS the Father and only says what his Father taught and tells him. Just like Joseph was to Pharaoh...only in the Throne was Pharaoh greater. It was Joseph who ruled all of Egypt and served as an example...a shadow picture, of how Yeshua rules with His Father being the supreme authority on the Throne.
