Yes! Thank you! Here's a little storytime. My grandpa died back in February. He wanted to be burried with his family, back in Sylhet (I'm from Bangladesh) and we couldn't get place tickets for my whole family, so we had to do a 10hr road trip. Listen, I know it was really sad, but I had a good experience. I knew he was going to go soon, so I wasn't fazed, sad, yes, but it wasn't a big deal. It hurt me to my bones to see him in so much pain. I wanted him to go. His life was torture. I cannot imagine how much pain he was in. He lived a long good life. I wasn't robbed of any memories. That being said, I was ready to let him go. And so that road trip felt healing to me. I had lost other grandpa a few months prior, and that road trip changed me. I was so tired of being quiet. So so tired. I didn't want to be an introvert anymore. So I wasn't. I stopped worrying sm abt my grades, started learning dance, which I always wanted to do, but never had the confidence, got an amazing bf, had my first kiss, got a bunch of new amazing frnds, reconnected with my ex bsf, started being less serious and more wild dare I say, I let go of toxic connections. But I also went from of the best students, to being one of the biggest trouble makers. Did some shit I'm not going to put on here, bc I don't want to confront myself, but, honestly, I've never ever been more happy. And, no, while doing all this, my grades did not drop. They got better. Yeah. The teachers hated me while loving me. The only thing I wanna say is: Live. Please just live. Don't survive. Live.
