Gaucho stopper knot- 2 strand 4 bight

In this video I demonstrate a 2 stranded stopper knot with a gaucho knot look. It has 4 bights and serves well as a more decorative knot to the commonly used lanyard knot.

It works especially well as a decorative knot, especially on lanyards.

This was my first Paracord project. I just made this knot as a lanyard knot on my knife. The knot looked like spaghetti when I "finished" tying the knot. But after tightening about 4 times, it looks amazing. Thanks for your helpful and informative video!

I have been tying paracord knots for about 6 weeks now and finally I've managed to tie one at the very first attempt. This is such a very pretty knot, but as Angela says below, a lot easier than your other similar gaucho video which left me very frustrated but that was in my early days.

OMG! I finally got it after two days and several hours. I was trying to practice this knot with Paracord that had been used before and was stiff, that is a mistake. I did get it but it was a nightmare and tightening it wasn't easy lol

Good tutorial. If you work the ends through towards the loop instead then you create a great little lanyard for a knife rather than a key fob.
